A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court to postpone the NEET PG 2024 exam, citing logistical challenges due to the late allocation of exam cities and concerns over exam fairness.
The petitioner, claiming to be a retired Army Brigadier, asked for a stay in government formation and re-elections to be held in 30 days. However, the court noted his absence in two hearings and his request to withdraw his petition, calling it a "publicity stunt".
The petitioner, who claims to be retired Pakistan Army officer, sought the elections to be declared null and void and the elections to be reconducted within 30 days. This came as the country witnessed widespread protests for alleged rigging in the February 8 elections.

The plea was moved by lawyer Vibhor Anand through advocate Ravi Kumar Tomar.
