Tv actor Pearl V Puri has been accused of raping a 5-year-old girl and has been taken under judicial custody for 14 days. Since his arrest, many industry friends and celebrities have been coming forward in his support. The victim's mother has also claimed that the actor is innocent.
TV actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee reacted to Nia Sharma's dig over her comment on victim-blaming in Pearl V Puri rape case. Meanwhile, Puri, who was nabbed late on Friday night on alleged charges of molesting and raping a five-year old girl two years ago, was produced before the Vasai Sessions Court Judge Aditi Kadam who granted him judicial custody for 14 days.
According to the Valiv Police Station, which lodged the case, the victim's family had complained that actor Pearl Puri had allegedly molested and raped the girl, around two years ago. The actor is out on bail now.
TV actor Pearl Puri, known for his role in Ekta Kapoor's Naagin 3, has been arrested on Friday (June 4) by Waliv police in Vasai (East) on charges of allegedly raping a minor girl.
