The ICC had dismissed Pakistan's compensation claim of around USD 70 million against BCCI earlier this week.
A PCB official said that the series could be rescheduled as the Australians are keen to play it as close to the World Cup as possible.
PCB chief Ehsan Mani said that it is disappointing that they lost the case but the only option now is to move on.
In its 26-page judgement, the ICC panel explained why it rejected PCB's Rs 447 crore compensation claim against the BCCI for not playing six bilateral series between 2015 to 2023.
The ICC's dispute panel dismissed Pakistan's compensation claim against India for allegedly failing to honour a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on bilateral series.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had demanded Rs 447 crore compensation after alleging that the BCCI didn't honour the MoU that required India to play six bilateral series between 2015 to 2023.

The PCB's statement came on a day when an independent adjudicator, Retired Justice Mian Hamid Farooq, upheld the 10-year ban on Test cricketer Nasir Jamshed.
The PCB had charged Jamshed with violating seven of its anti-corruption codes and believed he was the main cricketer behind approaching and soliciting other players for spot-fixing.
The three-member ICC panel headed by Michael Beloff, along with Jan Paulsson and Dr Annabelle Bennett heard first day's proceedings.
The comment came in the backdrop of a case filed by PCB against BCCI for not playing any bilateral cricket with them despite signing a MoU.
Mani further stated that he has asked the International Cricket Council (ICC) to give it in writing that they are totally satisfied with the league.
Akhtar on September 6 had announced that he is resigning from the post of advisor to the PCB chairman.
The PCB took to its official Twitter handle and revealed that Mani was elected unopposed by the Board of Governors (BoG).
The report came a day after the PCB demoted the right-hand batsman from Category A to Category B in its revised list of centrally contracted players.
Confirming the report on its official Twitter handle, the board subsequently decided to file a charge sheet against the Pakistani opener.
Javed Miandad said it was a shame that despite having good teams and exciting young talents, India and Pakistan do not compete against each other on regular basis.
