The Supreme Court on Friday granted relief of one week from arrest to Congress leader Hardik Patel in a 2015 Patidar agitation case.

His last desire is to donate his eyes after his death.
Athawale said he was willing to speak to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and mediate between him and Hardik Patel.
Hardik was held guilty along with his two aides, Lalji Patel and A K Patel, by Visnagar court and was sentenced to two years of imprisonment in June earlier this year.
State AAP leaders visited Patel as his fast began and delivered a letter of support from party national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Dalit leader and Independent MLA Jignesh Mevani also visited him and expressed support.
The Visnagar Court pronounced Hardik Patel guilty in a case related to vandalising BJP legislator Rushikesh Patel's office in 2015.
