On Sunday, the Hazara Express train travelling from Karachi to Rawalpindi derailed in Nawabshah district near the Sarhari Railway Station-- 275 kilometres from the provincial capital Karachi.
Ahmed said that the forensic teams hope to complete the identification process within 48 hours, adding that authorities were investigating the incident, including why it took the train so long to stop.
Railway officials said there were more than 200 passengers travelling in the three carriages.
