While dismissing the petition, the Supreme Court said that the Censor Board has not yet issued certificate to Padmavati.
"Bhansali in a video statement has made it quite clear that there is no dream sequence in the film and nothing objectionable has been shown about Rani Padmini."
Citing the said provision, the petitioner claimed that the movie shows women committing sati and therefore, should be banned.
Padmavati is all set to hit the screens on December 1.
