In the last couple of months, Mamata Banerjee has had meetings with several non-BJP and non-Congress leaders on the issue of opposition unity against the BJP in the 2024 polls.
The crucial meeting comes at a time when the Opposition is demanding a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) probe into the Adani-Hindenburg issue.
Addressing the media after meeting Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, Sharad Pawar said, "Our thinking is exactly what Kharge ji told you. But mere thinking will not help. A process needs to be started... This is just the beginning."
