Oommen Chandy's demise: Born in October 1943, Chandy served as the 10th Chief Minister of Kerala. He was also considered as one of the finest leaders of Congress in the state.
Kerala: Oommen Chandy, who served in as chief minister of Kerala two times, died in Bengaluru in the early hours of Tuesday, his family declared. In a Facebook post, the former Kerala chief minister's son, Chandy Oommen, announced his father's passing.
