Students in Kashmir are keeping up with their academics by taking to the online mode of education amid the coronavirus-induced lockdown, even as the clamour for the restoration of high-speed internet services has grown in view of the difficulties faced by them to access the study material.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday directed state officials to start online classes in all educational institutions and work on a permanent model for these, a senior official said.
Out of the 90 per cent of the students who prefer online modes over offline coaching, the majority are from Uttar Pradesh followed by Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
