The cases of Omicron variant in our country are increasing at a rapid rate. AIIMS doctor Anjan Trikha said that currently, Omicron is not affecting the lungs in the way the Delta variant was damaging it so far. However, it is showing its effect by staying in the upper part of the organ due to which patients are suffering from-- sore throat, cough and fever.
