Delhi received light rains Monday evening after a warm day and more showers are expected in the 24 hours.

Another study found that monsoon rainfall will become more unpredictable, with variability increasing up to 50 per cent this century if emissions continue to rise," it said.
Biting cold wave persisted in north India on Thursday as the mercury continued its downward trend and the national capital region is likely to record its second-coldest December since 1901 as temperatures are predicted to drop further, the weather department said.
