Launched in January, the Noida-Greater Noida Metro, also known as theAquaLine, is spread over 29.7 km and connects the twin cities in western Uttar Pradesh's Gautam Buddh Nagar.
There are a total of 21 stations on the corridor - 15 of them in Noida and six in Greater Noida – all of them elevated, the Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) said.
Noida Metro's Aqua line was inaugurated by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday.

The Aqua Line, whose construction began in May 2015 and was completed in record time, was initially expected to be opened for public in November 2018.
The Aqua Line would run between Sector 71 station in Noida and the Depot Station in Greater Noida, covering 29.7 km through 21 stations.

The 29.8km Metro link, which will connect the two residential hubs, will have 21 stations.
The project is scheduled to be completed by April next year at total cost of Rs 5,503 crore.
