The state reported 20 new cases of Omicron on Friday, taking the total tally of the new variant to 108.
The Haryana government on Friday imposed a night curfew from 11 pm to 5 am amid rising Covid-19 cases in the country. Gatherings of more than 200 persons in public places and events have been barred till further notice.
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar chaired a Covid review meeting on Friday, and said that both doses of vaccination have been made mandatory for entry in all public sector institutions.

The move comes amid Omicron cases surfacing in the state. On Sunday, Gujarat reported 4 new Omicron cases, taking the state's tally to 11.
With 27 patients getting discharged on Tuesday, the number of recovered cases rose to 8,17,108. The death toll of the pandemic remained unchanged at 10,092.
All SHOs and tehsildars shall ensure that announcements are made on public address systems to make people aware of the new development, an order issued by DM stated.
The night curfew timings in the state will now be from 1 am-5 am instead of 12 am to 6 am for one month starting October 30.

Durga Puja will be celebrated from October 10 to 15, while Lakshmi Puja will be held on October 20.
The state government has also strengthened its night curfew curb in twin cities, Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, for a period of 10 days in view of the Durga Puja.
