Sensex, Nifty at all-time high in early trade as stock market opens on positive note

The 30-share BSE Sensex jumped 412.02 points to 67,539.10 in early trade. The Nifty climbed 114 points to 20,110.35 -- its all-time high mark.
The 30-share BSE Sensex regained the 67,000 level. The benchmark jumped 528.17 points or 0.79 per cent to settle at 67,127.08. During the day, it rallied 573.22 points or 0.86 per cent to 67,172.13.
The 30-share BSE Sensex climbed 293.7 points to 66,892.61 in early trade. The Nifty advanced 95 points to 19,914.95.
The BSE Sensex declined 45.66 points to 65,734.60 in early trade. The Nifty slipped 12.75 points to 19,562.15.
The BSE benchmark Sensex climbed 119.17 points to 65,747.31 in early trade. The Nifty gained 39.15 points to 19,567.95.
The index opened higher and later touched a high of 65,178.33 in early trade. It, however, failed to hold onto the gains and plunged 553 points from the day's high to touch a low of 64,723.63 amid selling on the expiry of derivatives contracts for August month.
Sensex-Nifty: In the Nifty segment, 47 firms witnessed advances, while only four recorded declines, with none remaining unchanged.
In volume terms, 35.51 lakh shares of the company were traded on the BSE and over 7.47 crore shares on the NSE.
The 30-share BSE Sensex declined 202.36 points or 0.31 per cent to settle at 64,948.66. The NSE Nifty dipped 55.10 points or 0.28 per cent to end at 19,310.15.
During the day, it fell by 493.32 points or 0.75 per cent to 65,046.10. The NSE Nifty slipped 99.75 points or 0.51 per cent to end at 19,365.25.
The 30-share BSE Sensex fell 307.63 points or 0.47 per cent to settle at 65,688.18. The NSE Nifty declined 89.45 points or 0.46 per cent to end at 19,543.10.
The 30-share BSE Sensex climbed 149.31 points or 0.23 per cent to settle at 65,995.81. The NSE Nifty gained 61.70 points or 0.32 per cent to end at 19,632.55.
The coal supplies within a fortnight and will be completed by end of October, it said in an exchange filing.
