Max Hospital said earlier today that it had resumed operations after the Court of Finance Commissioner on Tuesday put on hold the Delhi government's December 8 order.
The hospital said in a statement that it had resumed operations after the "appellate authority" ordered a stay on the government's Dec 8 decision to cancel its license.
In its letter, marked also to Health Minister Satyender Jain, the doctors' body said that the government should wait for the report of the Delhi Medical Council (DMC) on the issue which is expected in a few days.

Delhi health minister Satyendar Jain today said it had cancelled the license of Max Hospital, Shalimar Bagh over wrongly declaring a newborn dead.
The hospital said two experts from the Indian Medical Association had been included in the probe team set up by the Max Healthcare authorities to investigate the case.
He further alleged that the hospital advised three injections worth Rs 35,000 and claimed that the chances of his wife’s survival had risen to 30 per cent.
Doctors at Shalimar Bagh-located Max Super Specialty Hospital declared a baby dead, along with his stillborn twin, and handed the bodies over to family members in a polythene bag.
