NEET-UG exam paper leak case: Amid the ongoing crisis around paper leak allegations, the Ministry of Education today constituted a high-level committee of experts to make recommendations on reform in the mechanism of the examination process, improvement in data security protocols etc.
The expert committee will have to submit its report to the Education Ministry within two months. The government's move comes as the students were marred by repeated paper leaks of top exams in the country.
The Centre told the Supreme Court that the decision to give grace marks to 1,563 NEET-UG 2024 candidates for admission to MBBS, BDS and other courses has been cancelled and they will be given an option to take a re-test on June 23.
