The probing agency registered a case against 12 accused after explosive materials, drones and a lathe machine were seized from three accused in June in Cherla mandal of Kothagudem, Telangana.
According to officials, the raids are being conducted in Varanasi, Prayagraj, Deoria, Azamgarh, and Chandauli districts.
The incident took place in Duvalipara village under Gangaloor police station limits where the deceased, identified as Assistant Constable Budhram Awlam, had gone to drop his relative on his motorcycle, a senior police official said.

The Naxalites were apprehended on Friday from a hill near Kunna village under Kukanar police station limits.

As many as four Naxals on May 13 surrendered before police in Chhattisgarh's Sukma. Giving information, Sukma Superintendent of Police Shalabh Sinha said that out of four, two Naxals had big bounty on their heads.
At least 8 Naxals surrendered before the Malkangiri police and Border Security Force (BSF) on March 18.
A portion of a school building was blown up by Naxals in Gaya's Bankey Bazar area.
