"My wife has that much strength and moral authority that she will never lie. This is my answer," Navjot Singh Sidhu, who is Tourism and Culture minister, said when asked about his wife's allegations.

The Election Commission Saturday issued a showcause notice to Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu for his remarks wherein he asked Muslims to vote en bloc to defeat Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
According to district police officials, an FIR was lodged against Sidhu at Barsoi Police Station in Katihar based on the statement of a local magistrate.
"If Modi comes to power for the second term, then the country would be finished," said Sidhu.
Archana Puran Singh though didn't complain directly, she made a sly dig at Navjot Singh getting higher salary than her in The Kapil Sharma Show.
"Every noble act makes a way for itself... your goodwill gesture is ‘a cup of joy' for a billion people, a nation rejoices...I am overjoyed for his parents and loved ones," Sidhu tweeted on Thursday.
Navjot Singh Sidhu has been reportedly ousted from The Kapil Sharma Show after his controversial comment in the wake of the Pulwama terror attack.
Kapil Sharma previously said that sacking or banning Navjot Singh Sidhu is not the solution.
