A political row erupted between the BJP and BJD after former Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik demanded a court-monitored SIT probe into the alleged sexual assault of an army officer's fiancée at Bharatpur Police Station.
The former CM, the leader of opposition in the assembly, condemned the incident and termed it as “very shocking”.
