Following the favourable trends, the social media site Twitter erupted with pro-BJP messages from fans and celebrities:
"We are happy with the trends so far in Tripura where the BJP looks like forming a government with 40 or more seats (in the 60-member assembly). Go for change was our slogan and the people have accepted our campaign," Madhav said.
His own victory from Northern Angami II constituency may have been a foregone conclusion as he was unopposed, but Rio is single-handedly responsible for making the Nagaland polls worth fighting.
