The voting in the 40 seats of Mizoram for the Assembly polls took place on November 7. The ZPM won the elections with comfortable majority.
Mizoram: Malsawmliana, the general secretary of the NGOCC, mentioned that the delegation had sought an appointment with the Election Commission on Friday. The Election Commission has granted them the opportunity to meet the chief election commissioner and other officials on Tuesday at 3 pm.
Mizoram witnessed a significant voter turnout during the polling on November 7 for its 40-member assembly. With over 80% of the 8.57 lakh eligible voters participating, the fate of 174 candidates now rests on the counting process.
