An FIR has been filed against school authorities in Badlapur for failing to report a sexual assault case involving minors, violating Section 19 of the POCSO Act. The SIT has interviewed the victims and their families. The accused has confessed and has a history of two failed marriages.
The NCPCR has warned that failure to comply with the notice could attract legal consequences, and directed the top officials to appear before it on July 29.
