Live bombs in huge quantities were recovered from West Bengal's East Midnapore after a search operation. The bombs were later defused by the disposal squad.
Heavy rain caused flood in several rural areas of Bengal's West Midnapore. Jhumi River has swollen after downpour. People were seen using canoe for movement. "There is no drinking water here, lower areas are facing electricity cuts, flood has created a big problem to us," a local told ANI.
