In last 10 months, 31 criminals have been gunned down by police in 921 encounters and more than 2000 goons were sent behind the bars. Also three police personnel have lost their lives in encounters.
The NDA government had on November 8 last year announced that currency notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 would no longer be considered legal tender.
A video of the event, which shows Russian belly dancers performing on stage amidst cheering doctors, has since gone viral on social media platforms.
Two complaints have been received, one by students of Kalka Dental College and Hospital and the other by Bajrang Dal activists, police said.
