Delhi health minister Satyendar Jain today said it had cancelled the license of Max Hospital, Shalimar Bagh over wrongly declaring a newborn dead.
In a clear case of medical negligence, doctors at a Delhi hospital had declared a baby dead, along with his stillborn twin, and handed the bodies over to family members in a polythene bag on November 30.
The hospital said two experts from the Indian Medical Association had been included in the probe team set up by the Max Healthcare authorities to investigate the case.
He further alleged that the hospital advised three injections worth Rs 35,000 and claimed that the chances of his wife’s survival had risen to 30 per cent.
