Parrikar, former defence minister, further accused Gandhi of using his courtesy visit to him for petty political gains.
"Friends, the ex-defence minister clearly stated that he has nothing to do with the new deal that was orchestrated by Mr Narendra Modi to benefit Anil Ambani," Gandhi told booth-level party workers meeting in Kochi.
Gandhi also went to the opposition lobby and met Congress MLAs.
Parrikar is suffering from advanced pancreatic cancer and has been in and out of hospitals in Goa, Mumbai, Delhi and New York since February 2018.
Parrikar who has been suffering from a pancreatic ailment had visited hospitals in Mumbai and the US for treatment last year.
Reddy was addressing the party's concluding function of 'Jan Akrosh' Rally at Margao town Thursday.
Mere ill-health does not make a constitutional functionary "incapable" of holding his post, the high court observed.
The officials concerned were given instructions to take necessary steps to fill in the vacancies and award the due promotions.
Parrikar, who is suffering from a pancreatic ailment, has been recuperating at his private residence near here since October 14 and this is the first time he has moved out of the house, officials said.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday wished ailing Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on his 63rd birthday and prayed for his good health.
The chief minister, who has been in and out of hospitals since early this year, is currently recuperating at his private residence here since he was shifted there from AIIMS in Delhi in October.
"He wanted to give up the CM's post altogether. He had even shown inclination to give away his portfolios (to other ministers) when he was admitted to a hospital during Ganesh Chaturthi festival," Sardesai said.
"People are being taken for granted. Had this happened in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, people would have stripped the politicians naked and taken them on a procession," said Velingkar
Surjewala pointed out that while Parrikar is a Chief Minister of a state, Sonia Gandhi was neither a Prime Minister nor was she holding a cabinet post when she suffered from illness.
Parrikar, who is suffering from a pancreatic ailment, is recuperating at his residence since October 14 after being discharged from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.
The Goa chief minister chaired a meeting of state-run Investment Promotion Board (IPB) during which a total of seven investment proposals were cleared.
The health minister's statements came amid Congress' continuing attempts to put pressure on the government to disclose disclose Parrikar’s health status and also come with a regular health bulletin.
A statement issued by Goa BJP chief Vinay Tendulkar said, "BJP is fully committed to coalition dharma and mutual trust and respect for constituent parties."
