AAP Rajya MP Sanjay Singh was arrested by Enforcement Directorate in connection with Delhi's liquor policy scam after a day-long raids at his premises.
Earlier during the day, the Enforcement Directorate searched Sanjay Singh's residence in connection with a money laundering case linked to Delhi's liquor policy scam.
Delhi liquor scam: “There is urgency and if this case can be accommodated on October 4 (Wednesday),” requested senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi, appearing for Sisodia, adding that the hearing will require a substantial amount of time.
The bail application was rejected by Special Judge MK Nagpal who termed it "devoid of any merit".

The CBI first arrested Sisodia, the former Delhi deputy chief minister, and excise minister, on February 26 for his alleged involvement in the fraud. He has been in custody ever since. In the CBI case, the high court had already denied him bail on May 30.
