The police investigating Dileep’s case reported that the secret marriage took place at a registrar office prior to the actor’s film debut in 1990.
When the actor was being brought from the court to the van and hearing that his bail plea was denied, the crowd jeered and booed Dileep.
Famous South actress, who has worked in many Tamil and Telugu films, was allegedly molested inside her car for two hours while travelling from Thrissur to Kochi by road in her car.
Over the years, AMMA, led by Lok Sabha member Innocent (CPI-M), had Mammootty, Mohanlal and Dileep at the helm of affairs along with Left backed legislators Mukesh and K.B. Ganesh Kumar running the show.
On April 20, Dileep had alleged blackmail by a man, who claimed that he was a friend of 'Pulsar Suni' in the case. Police had said they were also investigating the alleged conspiracy angle in the Malyalam actress sexual assault case.
In the past few days, the case has taken several twists and turns.On Sunday, the police arrested two persons for blackmailing Dileep and Shah.
