Matheran's famous heritage toy train will get back on track again, as the Central Railway announced that it will resume shuttle services between Aman Lodge and Matheran stations from Friday onwards, a railway official said on Thursday. The Central Railway had suspended the narrow-gauge train service from August 9, 2019, after the tracks got severely damaged during monsoon.

A lady ticket checker was allegedly assaulted by a ticketless woman passenger at a suburban railway station here, the third such incident in two days, a Government Railway Police official said on Thursday.
