Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday attended the listing ceremony of the Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC) bond, the first such listing from the entire northern region, on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) in Mumbai.
"The government has given a target to donate about 4,500 cows. Each person would be given four cows accordingly,"said, Lucknow Municipal Commissioner Indramani Tripathi.
The LMC has decided to introduce Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology so that bar codes can be used to ensure door-to-door garbage collection.
As part of a new drive by Lucknow Municipal Corporation, 'dhols' were played in front of a defaulter's property to spread awareness among people to pay house tax.
