The price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) gas cylinders has been hiked again, and the new rates would be applicable from tomorrow (Monday).
The Indian Oil Corporation has left the price of non-subsidised LPG cylinders unchanged at existing levels on January 1. However, the commercial customers will have to shell out an additional Rs 17 per cylinder.
The price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) gas cylinders hiked again. The price of a 14.2 kg LPG cylinder for domestic use increased by Rs 50. Similarly, the price of 5 kg short-cylinder has been increased by Rs 18 and the price of a 19 kg cylinder has been increased by Rs 36.50. In the last 15 days, price of cylinders were hiked twice by Rs 100.

In a written reply to a question in the Rajya Sabha, Pradhan said domestic subsidised LPG in Delhi was priced at Rs 538.95 per cylinder on October 1, 2019, and this month it costs Rs 574.50.
