The incident took place at around 1:30 pm in Rajnandgaon district's Joratarai village. The deceased also includes some school children. Earlier on Saturday, a similar incident in Chhattisgarh's Janjgir-Champa district took the life of one individual while eight others got injured.
The two dead personnel have been identified as Constables Mahendra Kumar a resident of Uttar Pradesh and S Shahual Alam, a resident of Sahibganj in Jharkhand, of the 111th Battalion of CRPF.
