Delhi: Kejriwal said Bhalswa landfill site has about 60-65 lakh tonnes of municipal waste spread over 72 acres, and besides legacy waste, 2,000 tonnes of fresh waste is getting added daily to the massive dump.
Flames emerging from the site can still be seen as it continues to exhale the toxic air in the site surrounding.
The official said the Fire Department received a call about the incident at around 5.48 p.m. at a dumping ground in Bhalswa
