The four terrorists had surrendered following gunfight with security forces, while three Al Badr militants deserted the new recruits and fled.
Five rounds of fire were opened by Pak snipper following which the jawan was injured.
"Two terrorists were killed in an encounter with J&K Police/SF (security forces) in Lolab Kupwara few minutes back," Director General of Jammu and Kashmir Police SP Vaid said on Twitter.

The terrorists were trained in Alpha 3 camp in Athmuqam area by 28 Baluch of Pakistan Army, the sources added.
On Thursday also, at least two Army jawans were injured in an attack on a patrolling party in Keran sector of Kupwara. Security forces had launched a combing operation in the area to flush out the terrorists.
The attack on Indian Army's patrolling party was carried out by Pakistan's notorious Border Action Team (BAT), sources said.
