Vishwas demanded that Delhi minister Satyendar Jain explain his position on the charge made by Mishra that he had handed over Rs two crore to Kejriwal.
Vishwas said that he has known Kejriwal for 12 years and even his ‘opponents cannot imagine him taking a bribe’.
Vishwas added that if Mishra had any proof of corruption against Jain or Kejriwal - or any other party leader including him - he should come forward with it at the party forum.
The decision was taken during an emergency meet of the party’s Political Affairs Committee (PAC) convened by CM Arvind Kejriwal at his residence to discuss the crisis.
