Pakistan has allowed consular access to the Indian death row prisoner, Pakistan Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif was quoted by a Pak media report as confirming.
Indian death row prisoner Kulbhushan Jadhav today met his wife and mother at the Foreign Affairs Ministry, Pakistani officials said.
Pakistan’s confirmation for the meeting comes amid media reports suggesting that India was yet to provide details about the arrival of Jadhav’s relatives in Pakistan.
"India is yet to provide details about Jadhav's wife and mother, Geo News quoted sources as saying, adding that "only one employee of the Indian High Commission in Pakistan will be present during the meeting".
Islamabad also said it was awaiting New Delhi's decision on Pakistan permitting media interaction with the wife and mother of Jadhav.
Pakistan on Wednesday granted visas to jailed death row prisoner Kulbhushan Jadhav’s mother and wife, the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said.
Pakistan's Foreign Office spokesman Mohammad Faisal confirmed in a tweet that Jadhav's family had applied for visas.
The directive was issued by the Foreign Ministry following its decision last week to allow Jadhav's family to meet him on December 25 in Islamabad, they said.
Pakistan said that Jadhav is not an ordinary person as he had entered the country with the intent of spying and carrying out sabotage activities.

India has also made it clear to Pakistan that the wife and mother of Jadhav should not be subjected to any kind of interrogation by Pakistani authorities if they visit the country.
India has sought an additional visa for Kulbhushan Jadhav's mother, Avanti Jadhav, and permission for her to meet her son.
Sitharaman said Pakistan's decision to allow Indian death row prisoner Kulbhushan Jadhav to meet his wife was a "good humanitarian gesture" .
