Jadhav, who is a retired Indian Naval Officer has been on a death row in Pakistan since last 2 years after the Pakistan military Court found him guilty of espionage and other terror activities.
Pak military courts were often criticised for not using due process or channels while putting a suspect to trial. One such court was used to convict Indian citizen Kulbhushan Jadhav under charges of espionage.
"India strongly objects to abusive language of Pakistan's counsel," Salve said as the International Court of Justice began the second round of public hearing in the Kulbhushan Jadhav case.
"These are proceedings launched for political theatre, making a claim for relief that is unsustainable and that should be dismissed," Pakistan told the court.
Pakistan, which is presenting its case today, asked the judge to adjourn the case, citing the illness of its ad-hoc judge.
Pakistan's Foreign Office spokesperson Mohammad Faisal in a video message posted on social media said that Indian arguments had nothing new.
The four-day trial opened Monday at the ICJ headquarters in The Hague amidst heightened tensions between India and Pakistan following Pulwama terror attacks.

If Kulbhushan Jadhav is alright, he has not been tortured, then what is the problem in providing him consular access?
Describing the Indian death-row prisoner as “the face of Indian terror”, Pakistan said that it would decide on consular access to him at an appropriate time.
