Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s son KT Rama Rao triggered a concern when he sneezed at a public function in Rajanna-Siricilla district on Monday.
"We held a special meeting of the Congress Legislature Party. The 12 members supported the leadership of Chief Minister KCR and wanted to work with him. We gave a representation to the Speaker and requested him to merge us with the TRS," Reddy said.
KCR believes that the party will further progress under the leadership of KTR, a press release said.
K T Rama Rao, son of TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) and considered number two in the party, also claimed that the TRS would win 16 of the total of 17 Lok Sabha seats in the state next year.
The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) would be rendered irrelevant post the Lok Sabha elections next year, a key Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) leader claimed on Wednesday.
According to latest inputs, the blast was triggered as hydrogen balloons carried by TRS workers exploded in the crowd minutes before KT Rama Rao's roadshow in Uppal.
Scrutiny of papers has been fixed for Tuesday while the last date for withdrawal is November 22.
"There is no answer when asked what is the criteria for the alliance between Congress and TDP,” said KT Rama Rao.
Taking a dig at Gandhi, he said the Congress chief talked about winning seats at Kamareddy, but his party lost a municipality under his Amethi Lok Sabha constituency.
