Kerala blasts: Dominic Martin, an accused in multiple blasts case was sent to Police custody for 10 days till November 15. The Kerala Police had said that the blast was caused by a remote-controlled Improvised Explosive Device.
The victim had suffered over 70 per cent burns in the blast that occurred at a religious gathering on October 29 and was on ventilator support.
Kerala blasts: The incident claimed the lives of three people and over 50 sustained injuries. According to the police, the accused also has the bills for the items purchased for the IED blast. Wherever Dominic purchased the goods, he made videos in those places.
The police registered the FIR in connection with the minister's recent statements on social media regarding the Kalamassery blasts and a Hamas leader's virtual address at an event. The event was organised by an Islamist group in Kerala's Malappuram district.
Over 50 individuals were injured, some seriously, during the multiple blasts at the international convention centre in Kalamassery where the followers from the minority Christian group, Jehovah's Witnesses, had gathered for the final day of a three-day-long prayer meeting.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken over the investigation of the blasts that claimed one life and injured 52 others. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has called for an all-party meeting over the issue, as per the CMO.
Meanwhile, Kerala DGP Shavik Darvesh Sahib said that preliminary investigation showed that an improvised explosive device (IED) was used in the incident. Union Home Minister Amit Shah instructed the NIA and NSG to initiate an inquiry in the incident.
