The chief ministers of four non-BJP ruled states on Saturday visited the residence of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, who is staging a dharna inside the waiting room of LG Anil Baijal’s residence for last six days, and expressed solidarity with him.
Kejriwal, along with Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Cabinet ministers Satyendar Jain and Gopal Rai, has been camping at the Raj Niwas — the official accommodation-cum-office of Lt Governor (LG) — since Monday evening.
Kejriwal, in a video released from the Lt Governor's office, asked the party workers to do a similar campaign like the one they did over electricity bills.
Kejriwal also wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, seeking his intervention to end the IAS officers' "strike" claiming that Lt Governor Anil Baijal was doing "nothing" to break the impasse.
