Describing the clashes as “shameful”, Naik observed that this was for the first time in the last 9-10 months that such an incident occurred in the state.

A bus was also set on fire in the latest flare-up in the city, where a curfew was imposed yesterday after the clashes.
The violent mob set two buses on fire and damaged many shops and other properties in Kasganj area.
