"Rajputs can never even think of attacking a school bus. This is a plot being created by politicians, who wish to weaken our peaceful protest," Karni Sena spokesperson said.
As a precautionary measure, security has been tightened in different parts of the country. The Karni Sena has given a call for 'Bharat Bandh' today.
The film, slated to be released on January 25, has been been facing protests by Karni Sena and other fringe groups over allegations that historical facts were distorted in the flick.
The protesters were seen burning tyres and indulging in vandalism, further blocking the roads causing traffic jam in various parts.
Padmaavat is slated to hit the silver screens on January 25.
This came after, the members of Karni Sena created a ruckus in connection to the controversial Bollywood film “Padmaavat” earlier in the day
