Karnataka Election 2023: The total seats in Karnataka are 224. The magic figure of majority to form the government is 113. Results will come on May 13.
The exit polls may have predicted hung assembly for Karnataka but they have failed to stir incumbent chief minister Siddaramaiah, who thinks the exit polls are mere 'entertainment'.
The final seat tally projections show, the ruling Congress leading with 97, BJP trailing with 94 seats , and the Janata Dal(S)-BSP alliance set to become the decider with 28 seats .
According to the detailed exit poll projections, out of the total 35 seats in Central Karnataka, BJP may win 17, Congress 12, JD(S)-BSP 5 and Others 1, while out of the total 21 seats in Coastal Karnataka, BJP may win only eight and Congress 13.
Karnataka Exit Poll Results: According to India TV-VMR Exit Poll, the elections will throw a hung assembly in the state with the Congress winning 97 seats, BJP 87 seats and JD(S) 35 seats.
