Tiwari was shot dead at his residence in Lucknow on October 18.
Following Kamlesh Tiwari's death, Kiran was unanimously appointed the National President of the Hindu Samaj Party floated by her late husband.

The Special Task Force (STF) which is working in close coordination with other agencies has seized the Innova car that the assailants had booked for travel from Palia in Lakhimpur to Shahjahanpur.
On a tip-off that the two men, who are suspected of actually carried out Tiwari's killing in Lucknow on Friday and have been identified as Sheikh Ashfaqul Hussain and Muinuddin Pathan, were present at Palia in Lakhimpur, an SIT team of UP police rushed to the place, said sources.
Police also suspect that Sayyad Asim Ali, who was apprehended by the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) from Mominpura area in Nagpur on October 19, had played a "very important" role in the crime.
During the investigation, it had come to light that the two had come to a hotel on October 17 and identified themselves as Sheikh Ashfaqul Hussain and Muinuddin Pathan. On the day of murder, both of them moved out of the hotel, wearing saffron kurta, and there was a box of sweets in their hand.

The Lucknow police received inputs about 2 suspects, Sheikh Ashfaq Hussain and Pathan Moinuddin Ahmed in connection with Kamlesh Tiwari murder case on Sunday.
Terming the murder of Hindu Samaj Party chief Kamlesh Tiwari "an act of mischief to create terror", Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday said such incidents will not be tolerated and those involved will not be spared.
The commissioner said that the demands of the relatives were taken into consideration while taking this decision and that government will provide full security for the family members of the deceased Hindu Samaj party leader.
A CCTV footage has captured Hindu Samaj Party leader Kamlesh Tiwari's attackers. He was attacked inside his office in broad daylight on Friday. In the CCTV, two assailants can be seen in saffron clothes.
