The Maharashtra government has set up a judicial commission led by Justice Dilip Bhosale to investigate the encounter of Akshay Shinde, accused in the Badlapur sexual assault case. This move follows public scrutiny and protests over police practices, weeks before the state elections.
According to the judicial commission led by Allahabad High Court Judge (retired) Arvind Kumar Tripathi, no clue or material or any flaw in the police system has been found that suggests any role of police in the murder.
