The Delhi High Court Monday allowed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to file a closure report in the case related to missing JNU student Najeeb Ahmed.
The CBI's submission came during hearing on a 2016 plea by Ahmed's mother seeking directions to the police, which was earlier probing the case, to trace her son who has been missing since October of that year.
Missing JU student Najeeb Ahmed was being treated for depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), police have said, based on the prescriptions found in his hostel room.
