Jharkhand Election Results 2019: The JMM-Congress-RJD alliance in Jharkhand is leading in 47 out of the 81 seats of state Assembly while the ruling BJP is lagging behind with 23 seats, according to the latest figures.

Dumka Constituency Result Live: As the counting of votes came to an end in Dumka constituency, JMM's CM candidate Hemant Soren has won the elections by 13188 votes.
Polling in 15 constituencies including 5 naxal affected constituencies of Bagodar, Jamua (SC), Giridh, Dumri and Tundi will begin at 7 am. While the polling in the 5 naxal affected constituencies will end at 3 pm, in other constituencies, voters will be able to cast their votes till 5 pm.
"I don't want to make government of any party or individual. I want the government of the people of Jharkhand which works for overall development of the people.... For me, the Congress and the BJP are same," Mahato said when asked about whom his party would support if the polls throw up a fractured mandate.
Saturday marked the phase one of the polling in Jharkhand assembly elections 2019. During the course of the day, scuffle broke out between the Congress and the BJP supporters in Palamu when Congress candidate KN Tripathi brandished a gun and clashed with BJP candidate Alok Chaurasia. The supporters of the two leaders were involved in a scuffle which was caught on camera.
The five-phase assembly elections in the state are scheduled to end on December 20 and counting will take place on December 23.
