Elections to the 81-member Jharkhand Assembly will be held in two phases, on November 13 and 20, with the counting of votes scheduled for November 23.

Sonia Gandhi, the interim chief of the Congress, said that victory of JMM-Congress-RJD alliance in Jharkhand election is of prime importance after BJP failed to retain power in the state, winning just 25 seats in the 81 member assembly.

Hatia Constituency Result: BJP candidate Navin Jaiswal won with a margin of 16264 votes against Congress' Ajay Nath Shahdeo from Hatia constituency.
Kanke Constituency Result: Sammari Lal of BJP takes place of the political seat with a margin of 22,540 votes against Congress candidate Suresh Kumar Baitha from Kanke constituency. In 2014, BJP's Jitu Charan Ram brushed off the Indian National Congress' Suresh Kumar Baitha. Ram got 1,15,702 votes compared with Baitha's 55,898 votes to win this Scheduled Caste reserved seat.
Ranchi Constituency Result: BJP's Chandreshwar Prasad Singh has won the election by 5904 votes.
Sisai Constituency Result: Jiga Susaran Horo of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has won the election by 38418 votes.
Congress' Rajesh Kachchap has won the elections by 5469 votes.
Mandar Constituency Result: JVMP's Bandhu Tirkey has won by 23127 votes. He defeated BJP's Deo Kumar Dhan.
Bhushan Tirkey of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM)won with 7667 votes against BJP candidate Mishir Kujur in Gumla Constituency. In the 2014 election, BJP's Shivshankar Oraon with 50,473 votes defeated the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha's Bhushan Tirkey, who received 46,441 votes.
Jharkhand Mukti Morcha candidate Chamra Linda won with a margin of 17382 votes against Bharatiya Janata Party's Ashok Oraon from Bishunpur constituency. Earlier trends showed Ashok Oraon leading with 1505 votes against Chamra Linda.
Simdega Constituency Result: As the counting of votes in Simdega constituency came to an end, Bhushan Bara of the Congress Party has defeated BJP's Shradhanand Besra by 285 votes.
Barkagaon Constituency result updates: Congress' Amba Prasad wins by 31514 votes against AJSU's Roshan Lal.
