The fire at Maharani Laxmi Bai Medical College's NICU in Jhansi has claimed 15 lives, with three more infants dying from medical conditions, as investigations reveal safety lapses at the hospital.
The fire broke out on Friday night at around 10:45 pm at the NICU ward in Jhansi medical college. 10 newborn babies died in the tragic incident while 16 were injured. 37 children were safely evacuated from the ward.
