In April, the temporary suspension of Jet Airways' operations had created a capacity crunch in the domestic sector. Consequently, 280 slots in Mumbai and over 160 in Delhi were left vacant.
The affairs of Jet Airways, which closed down its operations on April 17, are now being managed by resolution professional Ashish Chhawchharia under the insolvency law. In the communication to the exchanges, Chhawchharia said that prior to the commencement of the resolution process, directors, chief executive officer, chief financial officer, company secretary and other top management personnel had resigned from the company.
In his complaint, the passenger from Chhattisgarh had said he had booked a flight from Raipur to Kolkata on June 9, 2012. The flight which was scheduled to depart at 9.25 pm, was combined with another flight which left at 10.40 am, more than 10 hours before the scheduled departure.

The Centre has ordered a SFIO probe into the affairs of now defunct Jet Airways after finding instances of fund diversions and large-scale irregularities, sources said on Thursday.
